Camshaft Thrust Plate, goes behind the camshaft pulley in the timing chain area.
Good maintenance, just as you would never rebuild your motor without replacing the crank thrust washers, you should also care about the camshaft thrust plate. Sometimes called the “triangle plate” this small but important plate doesn’t just hold the cam to the block, but has to locate it within the proper tolerance. There is a bearing surface on the plate, and when that wears the cam can literally walk back and forth. The point here is that any time you have the cam plate off you should replace it, as you would with any engine bearing.

Cap Master Cylinder, Early Plastic Lockheed Type 2/Hand
Has original Lockheed markings on cap. This is 2/Hand so may need cleaning.
This is the small master cylinder cap as fitted to both the brake & clutch master cylinders. This is the small cap and was fitted to the tin can master cylinders and some plastic master cylinders. This is about the size of a 50c piece
Plastic cap as supplied on single line brake cylinders pre 1976 and all clutch masters.
It doesn’t often break or wear out but it gets lost or turns yellow. The early steel master cylinder reservoir caps had a tendency to rust on, so this white plastic could be considered an upgrade unless you wish to keep your Pre 1963 car original with a metal cap 17H3723
