Twin Carburettor Manifold Suit 1-1/4″ SU
Made in UK
Cast alloy type, this intake manifold for twin SU’s (H2, HS2 or H4 — NOT HS4) It has been carefully produced to minimize cross-port-flow interference caused by the balance tube and has generous radii in all the right places.
Further blending can be done if required, but leave a ground finish to promote fuel atomization. Do NOT polish!

Valve Cotter, Pair
All the earlier heads used the 2A11 cotters, noted by the wide slot in the valve.
Later production and most aftermarket valves, use this 88G459 collet/keeper with a single narrow groove Pre APlus.
Valve stems with 3 grooves as used on most A-Plus heads,use CAM6975 cotters. Order the correct cotters to go with the valves you will be using.
When ordering these you get two halves to equal one cotter for one valve.

Early Large cotter groove exhaust valve. Most small-bore engines seem particularly prone to burning valves, it is highly recommended to replace the exhaust valves when you do a valve job! This 1.0″ valve fits most early 948cc, 998cc and 1098cc engines.
These have the wide rectangular groove 8.65mm (.340″) to accept the original 2A11 cotters
