If your 1982 on model Mini has a short (3″ or so) clutch arm, you have a “Verto” clutch. This is your clutch plate disc if it is 180mm wide.
If your car is 1990 or later you have a 190mm wide # GCP90832AF plate

Clutch Release Bearing
If you get a ‘growling’ noise when you put your foot on the clutch pedal chances are that the Thrust bearing is knackered, it is important to replace it as soon as you can because this will eventually lead to complete clutch pedal loss and the car will be immobile. (A Very low clutch pedal can also indicate a problem as well)
