Many people are fitting these Mk1 type grilles with surrounds to later cars as part of the retro look. Takes lamps up to 6″ wide (152mm), Spot Lamps look best and can be adjusted more easily to get the beam height and dip correct.

The wide slats are made in automotive type 430 stainless steel which means any stains created where it would attach to ordinary metal can be polished out.
