If your MKI or MKII suffers from terminal “Door Handle Sag” it is quite possible that the inside door latch mechanisms are tired. A Left Hand drive car should have a locking latch on the Right side (the Driver’s side key-locks with the handle). Right Hand drive is opposite. If your handle lifts to open the door the latch is upside down! This is the Right Hand side latch for a Right Hand drive car.
