A uniquely designed method for locking the crankshaft on the engines listed in their timed position from the rear of the engine, while working on the timing chains and other components also located at the rear of the engine. The OEM method of crankshaft locking requires the front pulley to be in place and removal of the compressor at the front of the engine. The Laser 9259 does not lock at the front of the engine, so reduces the need to work at the front of the engine.

Applications include: Jaguar E-Pace (from 2017), F-Pace (from 2016), XE (from 2015) & XF (from 2015). Land Rover Discovery (from 2017), Discovery Sport (2015 – 2019), Range Rover Evoque (2015 – 2019), Range Rover Sport (2016 – 2018) & Range Rover Velar (from 2017).

This kit gives technicians the accurate, repeatable location control they need when working on the latest JLR 2020-onward models such as the E-Pace and Range Rover Evoque.
